Bye Bye Baltimore

It's not actually snowing yet. But too cold for my blood.

Thanks for all the fish. And the grey hairs. And the debt. Why did I think grad school was a good idea again...?

At least I made a few great friends. And learned how to calculate permutations, ANOVAs, and chi-squares, which will prove limitlessly useful throughout my life. Especially since all that information will stay in my brain for about one month.

But on a brighter note...

Punta del Diablo, Uruguay

Next week I'll be on a sunny beach! Far, far away from this dreadful cold rain, ruthless wind, and perpetually overcast skies. And best of all, basking next to me on that sunny beach will be my TK! Who I miss so dearly I can't sleep at night. Long distance SUCKS. Don't do it. I'm so thrilled to have a normal relationship again and never leave his side ever, ever again. Well ok, I won't follow him into the bathroom. But almost.

The next few months should be super exciting, as we travel from Uruguay and Argentina to Bolivia, then Panama, and eventually Swaziland! Hopefully I can update you guys with stories and photos - we'll see how well I keep up with it.
